CiteScore Tracker: Growing insight into a journal’s citation impact

CiteScore is the fixed annual metric provided by Scopus to track and validate journal citation impact year over year. A companion metric, CiteScore Tracker, offers a monthly look at how the annual number is building, including the ability to view the citations behind the calculation. With the release of the 2016 CiteScore annual values just around the corner, now is a good time to take a look at the final CiteScore Tracker 2016 numbers. Updated May 7, 2017, the CiteScore Tracker values you find on Scopus today provide the closest indication to date of what the CiteScore 2016 annual numbers might be.
